I try to setup a eZ 3.7.3 and I have this server details: mySQL admin = 2.6.4-pl1 mySQL db= 5.0.18 standard PHP = 4.4.2 Apache ver. = 2.x I get this info, after all steps: The database cannot be used, it uses the character set which is different from the requested charset iso-8859-1, iso-8859-4, iso-8859-9, iso-8859-10, iso-8859-13, iso-8859-14, iso-8859-15, windows-1252, windows-1250, cp850, dec-mcs. But my DB is within this charsets, I try several difrent collation, but no luck. I getting desperate soon, wonder if I have to change host and buy something else. Any ideas, clues, solutions or help will be nice. <i>But as I've experienced before, there is no help to find ... ???</i> www.taon.no
Clarence Washington	Tuesday 07 February 2006 2:13:36 pm I'm really not one to give advice, since I can't get the system to work yet either, but I believe the installation guidelines mention somewhere that the system does not work with version 5 of mySQL.
